The Hangover

The Hangover - Las Vegas, USA

The Hangover (2009) was filmed in Nevada and was directed by Todd Phillips and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The famous Las Vegas strip was the main location for Doug’s (Justin Bartha) stag duo and he was joined by Phil (Bradley Cooper), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Stu (Ed Helms). The Hangover’s most iconic location was Caesars Palace where the characters stayed the night. However, the suite which was damaged in the film was built on a soundstage. Filming of Caesars Palace included the front desk, lobby, entrance drive, pools, corridors, elevators, and the roof.

SLEEP

As you all know if you’ve seen The Hangover, the gang stay in the iconic Caesars Palace. However, the Palace Tower Penthouse costs a whopping £1,956 a night. Not too sure how much the gang had to pay for destroying the penthouse.
If that is not in your price range, they still have luxurious rooms starting at £97 a night. If this still is not in your price range, then Circus Circus Hotel is one of the best value hotels on the strip.
The three star hotel is £240 for 7 nights for two adults. Circus Circus has America’s largest indoor theme park, two casinos, a circus arena, a video arcade, various restaurants and a wedding chapel.
For this price, this is definitely great value for money. Check out travelbag.co.uk for more information on hotels on and off the strip.

EAT

If you want to eat where The Hangover was filmed, then Caesars Palace is your place. With 14 restaurants to choose from, you’re bound to find something you like. From Gordon Ramsey’s English themed pub to the Bacchanal Buffet, which features over 500 items, it is worth to spend a little bit extra and try one of these places out.
However, if you want something cheaper, the strip has many restaurants to offer. Settebello is a true Italian restaurant. Settebello are all homemade and are cooked on a wood-fired oven. With prices starting from £5.50, it’s hard to refuse this pizza.
